Before & After - Same Home, Same Space

This wonderful family made aliyah to a home that hadn’t been updated in nearly 30 years. Their small kitchen presented several challenges: three separate entrances (yes - three!), structural walls that limited flexibility, and very little storage or counter space.

Through thoughtful and creative planning, these challenges were transformed into smart, practical solutions. One kitchen entrance was reimagined as an attractive, functional bookcase, allowing for uninterrupted cabinetry and additional counter space within the kitchen. The second entrance was converted into a table with extra storage below, maximizing both usability and flow.

The redesigned space now includes the family’s complete wish list: two ovens, two sinks, a dishwasher, generous cabinetry and counter space, updated parquet flooring, new doors, and a comprehensive lighting plan. 

The living area was also reworked with a properly scaled sofa, replacing one that previously overwhelmed the space. We replaced an unusual wall that was completely open at the top, extending the living room by approximately 30 valuable centimeters. This change gave us the opportunity to correct the door swing, which had originally been installed incorrectly based on the placement of the light switch. 

In addition, a dedicated corner was thoughtfully designed for lighting Shabbat candles. We even designed a custom mirror to cleverly disguise unsightly electrical boxes.

The result is a home that functions beautifully while feeling warm, calm, and welcoming.
