This was an exciting transformation for a child psychologist's office in a machsan (storage room). The client's request was to improve the overall look and feel to be more professional, functional, and comfortable for patients.
We replaced the cold tiles with warm parquet floors, painted the walls a welcoming white, and added a stunning and uplifting piece of artwork by Jordana Klein.
The custom wall unit holds and hides the many notebooks and papers of the psychologist as well as his computer printer. Additionally, the entire bottom two rows of the unit are actually file cabinets. We also customized the desk for the space, including intentionally having a bar towards the bottom for the children to rest their feet.
Parents used to wait for their child in a dark and messy hallway. That space is now transformed into a mini garden.
Though the spaces were incredibly small, thoughtful design elevated both the office and hallway from messy to magical.
Client Testimony
"The level of enhancement and embellishment designed and implemented by Tsivya influenced the atmosphere of my office from one of sullenness to one of light and optimism.
Tsivya has a knack of interpreting the project in accordance with the goal of changing the mood in the spirit of the function of the space enhanced.
The intricacies involved in scheduling and carrying out different stages of the project allowed for minimum amount of pressure and maximum amount of professionalism.
It is rare to see professionalism combined with such a pleasant and concerned personality which is found within Tsivya.
I highly recommend her work and thoroughly enjoy the product of her efforts on my behalf." Chanoch Yeres
