Styled for Sparkling Stainless-Steel Countertops

After 20 years in a cramped 60-square-meter apartment, this family, with six grown sons, five still living at home, moved into their long-awaited dream home. With the larger space came a clear goal: to create a calm, cohesive design that would truly support their daily life.

Thanks to the clients’ thoughtful and detailed responses to the pre-design kitchen questionnaire, the kitchen was planned entirely around their routines and needs. It includes a custom wine rack and the wife’s top request, stainless-steel countertops, a rare and bold choice in Israeli homes.

At the entry, a custom wall unit with a built-in coat closet was designed, a feature often missing in Israeli apartments. To accommodate the family’s extensive book collection, a double-tiered bookcase with a movable front section reveals additional shelving behind.

For this family of avid readers, I sourced a unique four-seater reclining sofa ensures that every seat reclines, including the center sections. With the addition of two individual recliners, each family member now has a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy a book.

A distinctive brass chandelier above the dining table completes the space, bringing warmth and character to the renovation.

And, of course, the magnificent sunsets are theirs to enjoy.
