I knew I was in for some creative fun when this client said she "loves color, needs to feel like she's living in a 'grown-up' home and not a dormitory, and wants a happy atmosphere."

We replaced all the windows and triss boxes with models featuring trissim enclosed between two glass panels. This eliminated the need for external triss boxes, often dust collectors and an eyesore.

The brown stair railing was painted a matching color to the walls, easing the heavy feel and seamlessly blending it in with the room.

Since the family has two dogs, it was important to choose materials that are easy to clean. The new couch was designed not only for comfort, beauty, and maximum seating but also upholstered in durable fabric that stands up well to both pets and people.

Avid readers, they requested better lighting in their salon area. We added low-profile geves (drywall) ceiling lights for their clean, stylish appearance and practical functionality while keeping their original, attractive central light fixture.

The piano, previously cluttering the space, was relocated between two bookcases and paired with a lovely piece of art. This simple move opened up the entire room, making it far more welcoming.

How fabulous is the artwork above the couches? Both pieces, above the piano and seating area, were created by VILA Prints, with custom color adjustments made specifically for this space.

The clients are now happy with their bright and beautiful space and feel truly grown up.
